LOVE YOU A LOT

by Amy Wustrin

Last chance wasted like
0nly a seasoned fool could manage
Vanished into the
Ether one long lost June afternoon

Yearbook notes are mostly lame, I know, but-
Once in a thousand times it’s interesting…
Under the body, the closing can sometimes take your breath away

Anytime I need him, I remember how he closed it

“Love you a lot, Anthony”
Only a seasoned fool could manage
To waste her last chance so spectacularly

Author's Note: i'll never not regret this.
