One Day

by Michele Schottelkorb

One day I'd like to write a letter
To tell this whole long story out
But I refrain until I'm better
Lest I scream and kick and shout

One day I'd like to pen a song
To gift the world my twisted view
But I will wait; but not too long
My broken heart's about to spew

One day I'd like to tell you all
To go to hell and stay awhile
But I see writing on the wall
And choose to dwell in blissful guile.

Yes, it HAS been a long time, and, WOW. Apparently you have some expressions about dying to get out here in black and white. Hugs, my dearest Michele!

This one just tied my stomach into a knot. It's good to see you post again.

This seems like a poem in interlude so to speak. A story in waiting, for the right time if there is one. Its been a very long time, glad to see a new post from you :)

*evil grin* sorry, I see the pain in this but it just FEELS SO GOOD to spill it out! Thus the evil grinning.

I am glad, I do not have to wait for that One Day to love this poem, top to bottom. It is lovely to ponder in the here and now, the intrigue of possibility there is to follow.
