her bridges by Kyle Anne Kishbooking on outta here
not looking back
cuz theres no more
to lose than my
poker winnings
i do not play poker but keep
a good poker face
to erase the bit of light
which shines its longitude
at the nearest latitude
outside the hemisphere
of my brain
HER-eyes
the eyes of someone
noticing suspicion
in everyone elses eyes
or is it simply deception
of the kind that overrides
all things neutral
no impasse
no trespassing
just repossessing
what im claiming
to be mine, ours, yours
if thats what it may be
HER-eyes
not always the wisest way
of lending myself to myself
but certainly a kinder, gentler
way of looking at things
which go bump in the night 05/06/2008 Posted on 05/06/2008 Copyright © 2025 Kyle Anne Kish
