Libera by Maria Massarella
l i b e r a
I come to you
you come to me
with bacchus-kissed lips
inebriated breaths of April
affluent me into this now
a May m-a-y listen how
sound glissades ambrosial the tongue
opens the senses to infinities
in mystic light
ness I gypsy inner gardens
where feet journey
naked of illusions and chains
no shattered glass
slices nor thorns pierce
and I wear you like the
fragrance of my soul
drink of your beauty
dance heaven whirling
symphonies divine
in this space
where all
you are
I am
m.a
You come to me inebriated mayness and I dance heaven ... m.a

Posted by Michelle Angelini on 05/04/08 at 01:17 AM Maria, your words are like water gently falling down a rocky stream creating soft music in a shady, wooded glen. That's the feeling I get when I read these words. |
