Glimpses of the Past

by Marjorie Anne Reagan

Visiting these poems
especially the ones of you
are like small glimpses
of my heart
feeling full with love for you
they lift me up and keep me going
even in the hard cold time
thank you for them all
your voice echos in my soul
eternally your hum and your seldom heard laugh
now if I could only feel your arm around my shoulder

Wonderfully expressed. I think that last line is just about perfect.

I like this thread of visiting our past poems...maybe I will write something along these lines too! MFS

oh my goodness...I posted a poem on a similar theme right after this one, without having read yours. I love this poem! (what a funny coincidence)
