Author's Note: okay. I'm going to a wedding tomorrow, and they requested "blessings" instead of presents. so my wife wanted me to write a poem. Any (quick) suggestions that would help this poor little tanka will be GREATLY appreciated. Incidentally, the last two lines make up the title of a Unitarian/Universalist hymn. AFTERNOTE: the wedding was beautiful.

It's sweet. Personally I'd take out the second "of the spirit", but that's just me.
