it starts...
-a flickering candle, then two.
and more-

holding hands
the dance
and our bodies contort
stretch and twist.
we stare dumbly
at doppelgangers on the wall.

i never moved a muscle

I like how this touches on the supernatural, and despite its short length says enough to move the reader to draw his or her own conclusions.
