Exited The Building (100th Floor)

by Jersey D Gibson

All it takes is baby steps,
close your eyes and walk.
No one understands,
no one but you and I (the sky).
I've seen so many like you,
faces contorted and twisted.
In a pure moment,
you can set yourself free.
(close your eyes and walk.)
Nothing left inside,
but the grief and sadness.
You've lost yourself on the inside,
lost and an empty shell.
It's time to make a stand,
make a stand and walk.
Going through the sky like a bird,
albeit a bird without wings.
(It's so hard to set yourself free.)

Scary stuff. One can feel the inviting emptiness.

And freedoms just another word for nothing left to loose. Just leave plenty of room for the landing. Nice write.
