and you chose me

by Charlie Morgan

i got my college diploma
when i had learned enough
to holler at you: Marry me?!,
as you drove to your dorm.

now, gazing across the top
o' megrandson's tossled mop,
i smile inside, gathering moments,
my hands are sieves overflowing.

how can anyone hold such heavy?
tipping the tete a tete of a grin,
a reflection in time shows a seat
beside you; we await the journey.

I love this expression of your life... well lived and abundantly loved. What a great romance! ~N

A wise man, full of what matters, and smart enough to appreciate it all. Pretty sweet...

What a beautiful expression of love... it is great to see such deep emotion after so many years together.

What a fabulous testimony of true love... I knew it was real! Now, all I have to do is find it for myself. Thanks for sharing with us out here from your world and giving us romantic souls encouragement.. alisa ;-)
