learning curve

by Morgan D Hafele

i try to figure out why i can't find meaning in my life
and it shouldn't be a surprise
because i use games and movies to define
everything between the broken lines
that i pretend to read.

Author's Note: i guess it's just one of those days,
and i'm just looking for the needle and thread
and maybe someone to stitch me together again...

For some of us the learning curve of life is quite steep like a 3 mile high church steeple.

Indeed. I like this, I feel it... It's difficult not to define yourself with opinions, but the great thing about poetry is... (Have I mentioned I think you should write more lately...? I feel like it's been a few months.)

A truly profound slice of introspection. You're far from alone amid the games and movies. Unlike Humpty Dumpty we all have to be able to put ourselves back together again, or else...

Yeah....pretty much.

I very much see myself in this piece, especially as a youngster struggling through the school system. I'm sure I'd be diagnosed with ADD if I was doing the same thing today.
