march into Selma, Montgomery, D.C.;
I'll march for you if you'll march for me
make a commitment
make a plan
make a haven of this land
act for your children
act for you
act like his dream is your dream, too
lift a pencil
lift your thoughts -
freedom isn't cheaply bought
but with hope in our minds
and with love in our hearts
we can see to the end from the moment we start
lift your spirit
lift your eyes
we are the challenge
and peace is the prize.

There is a lot of hidden discrimination, and we all probably have some, but it is a question of recognizing it and dealing with it. Communication and education are still the key. Thanks |
