Author's Note: a repost of *my Father's (and Mother's) gate - garden - home ... several metres behind my camera's eye and me was where Sentinel (the palm tree) used to be ... oh! by the way... 'poesia' is Italian for 'poem'

An awakening for sure. From the earth comes the flower, so too the poem from it’s roots.

Very nice Maria. And very true. I think it was Ovid that wrote "carpe diem" and we indeed must savour every precious moment, because they really are fleeting. These are rosebuds however so beautiful that they should never be gathered.

Makes me think of the Scripture verse: "Rejoice and be glad for this is the day the Lord has made."
