spit but instead
threw My two Cents
in. down, down
and disappeared;
I wondered if the
Rain knew it wasn't
needed anymore. I
felt Myself mutter
a stupid Thoughtless
wish for someone else;
Nothing answered; Thoughts, Rain
and Spare Change overtaken
by the misty specters
swirling around My ears
and then vanishing too.
I ran to My car, and
left without saying
goodbye. it's not the same without
