looking for tomorrow

by Charlie Morgan

changing careers late in life is bothersome,
if not hazardous to your total mental health;

just today i've had to consider becoming a detective
so i can learn how tomorrow gets stolen so easyily.

i saw this morning rapidly change to afternoon,
and by noon you could no longer see any morning.

everything means something a sage once said;
so something's up in this post-Copernican world.

i'll start my search for the elusive tomorrow;
but today, today i'll enjoy the sun and point.

Yup, I think I get the point. Changing careers at this point could mean suicide for me, so in the famous words of The Beatles, specifically Paul McCartney...I'll Follow The Sun.
