boy takes girl for a walk, falls in love.

10,,000 yearslater.

electricianess we were not wired for this
the lioness&children are slept, the lightning will surprise you
you will be shocked. i promise you will be shocked.
do not get tears on the wires, either, it will be negative.

send your electrons away for seasons
greetings, it must be a day to say goodbye
goodbye.
what just happened? it smells like rain, it smells like planes.

stretch elasticbreath across my face it's suddenly cold
inside away from the outside it feels just the same.
what did you do constructive this weekend?
built a dam for the pouring loss & confusions
my compass has lost everything of your scent.

pheromones i can follow paper traces of your celluframes
your epidermis so potionly &stuck my memory arrow
phereotypes your folders full of crawling me things
if the spiders took me from and saltwashed mylids
you'd cry black & walk against on eight legs.
to get away faster to retrospect your steps, to leap
so high
reversely

put your spaceheels in my palms & touching the sky
look up
look up
it looks like
love? maybe the sun is sinking, maybe the lake
is the ceiling a mirror are you close like i think?

projectionist this fine film doesnot have to feel like a foreign project.
naturalist put together a basket of your finest fruits&green spacesuits.
magicianista read roadshow again & share with me the sparkle tricks
now dazzle me
stars& stars me
i'm well-thrilled to saw you in half & take the glimmering girl this time
like the grass is greener on this side of the fence painter's face

it depends on the primary color of the clouds you bring with you.
this feels like the 50s & as pretty as it is.
postcards spend days tearing themselves apart
for two faces pasted together like the front of this.

sweetreams, it is 10,,000 yearsless
you wear a dress.

i am flying the same jet we took off on. zoomingthru.

One says to the other, "You look kind of pathetic to me. Ever thought about writing poetry?"
The other says, "Yeah, played at it once or twice, but I'm pretty sure I picked you for potd." Really enjoyed this Steven!

"postcards spend days tearing themselves apart" -- i spend equal amounts of time tearing myself apart after i read brilliance like this... can you write something $#%@ty so i can feel better about myself? give genius a rest, thanks.

I absolutely loved that stanza. I loved it all, actually. As I always seem to do. This one was so magical. It all played out in my head like a slightly twised Pixar movie. The imagery here was breathtaking and the metaphors were nothing short of brilliance. Great job, Steven!
