LOST by Joan SerratelliI somehow got lost
on my way to nowhere
There was nobody
to help me,
to guide me
to show me the way
I needed your help,
your wisdom
and you were
nowhere to be found
I miss you
but more than than that;
I miss us 12/25/2007 Posted on 12/25/2007 Copyright © 2024 Joan Serratelli

Posted by Alison McKenzie on 12/25/07 at 06:28 PM I know this feeling, am far too personally intimate with it, infact. It's interesting that you say you were headed "nowhere" and that the other person was "nowhere to be found;" even though you were lost along the way. I agree with Chaz, deeper than it appears at first glance. |
Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 12/27/07 at 10:40 PM I really like the first two lines to this - they almost make me feel like I am spinning in circles. It sure points out how important other people are in our lives. WEll done, Joan. |

but more than that
I miss us" is brilliant...
Your works evolve as does life...
