LOST

by Joan Serratelli

I somehow got lost
on my way to nowhere
There was nobody
to help me,
to guide me
to show me the way

I needed your help,
your wisdom
and you were
nowhere to be found

I miss you
but more than than that;
I miss us

...joan, this is heavier than it appears; it is so deep to be waaaay past "cute"...this one borders on brilliant, aren't we all going nowhere?...and we would/will miss the "other" in our lives...yin yang...lovely write, peace, chaz

I know this feeling, am far too personally intimate with it, infact. It's interesting that you say you were headed "nowhere" and that the other person was "nowhere to be found;" even though you were lost along the way. I agree with Chaz, deeper than it appears at first glance.

I really like the first two lines to this - they almost make me feel like I am spinning in circles. It sure points out how important other people are in our lives. WEll done, Joan.

Hi Joan, "I miss you, but more than that I miss us" is brilliant... Your works evolve as does life... TonyY
