I've accidentally cancelled Christmas

by Dave Fitzgerald

I got a Christmas email,
I read it yesterday.
It cheered me up a great deal
In a Festive way.

By then it had done its job,
And though I found it neat,
I placed my mouse upon it,
Right-clicked and found delete.

That was when the world changed
In a most un-Festive way.
Every single calendar
Is missing Christmas Day!

Someone cyber-help me,
Before the January Sales,
Make the world more Festive
And send me Christmas mail.

Sounds like a Christmas Efail! Wow, is it something like Y2K? Should we stock up on mouse traps?
Merry Christmas Dave! You constantly inspire me.

Dave you are one funny guy. You might dedicate this poem to Norm Milliken. ;-)

hah-- I love especially the dramatic world changing moment achieved by that delete button. Excellent dabbling in centuries long dreamed of magical powers... and with such unabashed glee and plea for more!
