earth to sky

by Mary Frances Spencer

when the white lotus
opens completely
pure light
mirrors that still pond
and the tiniest ripple
sways every lily

roots ebb and flow
entwining
earth to sky

in this moment
the sublime
floats
just a
breath away

A remarkable flower in water. You have captured its essence and magical effect on we mere humans.

Wow. Super vivid. Incredibly flowing and succinct in the good way. A+
