Wow. Powerful little haiku!!! I can't tell if you turn your head toward him (in longing) or away (in a gesture of self protection). I love the way the word "body" objectifies him, and then how vulnerability is revealed in "blinding gaze". Amazing!

Now that's a nice Haiku. So few words saying so much.
