Beauty in Death

by Erin Jones

Beauty colors my world
The color captures my soul
Death can be so beautiful

Fire envelops the trees

The wind steals away life's breath
Thus, the arrival of death

The change of seasons brings both sadness and joy and you've described it wonderfully here.

So dark, but wonderful. I often think of the beauty in the death of things as well, for who is to say what follows after? Your image of fire is piercing. I think it ties it all together. Nice work. Welcome to the site...
