the space between by Mary Frances Spencera void
is
defined by what's not there,
as the mirror in the darkened room
reflects
blurred tangible
a shadow
might slither through
vaporous light
or absence of
even the atom
tracks its primal path
in amniotic
a ceaseless orbit
being
or just not there
at all
vibrating
unseen frequencies
the empty
reacts
to and from
all matter
a universe untouched
unseen
unknown
unused
the beyond
that other world
waiting
in the space
between

Posted by George Hoerner on 11/16/07 at 04:19 PM Having read Sartres "Being and Nothingness" yes it does. This is very nicely done and definitely stimulates the mind. It can apply to so many things, many of which you touch upon. Nicely written and a nice read. |
