Ca' Wash

by A. Paige White

Giggles in gusts
with toothy grins
waterhose in hand
to get Nanny wet
A MUST!

"Wash a ca, Nanny!"
as he chases me and wets me good
I let myself get caught
'cause I know I should

With my every protesting shriek
His giggles grow
"Wada's COLD!"
to a belly laugh
under soaking t-shirt
and over 20 pound pullups
falling down
in the wet grass
my heart soars...
smiles fill my eyes
a song flutters
airborne in his laughter...

You can come wash my ca anytime you like. Giggles make it fun and my ca hasn't been clean in 4 years!
