Fast track of Life

by Jean Mollett

Fast track of Life,
each of us go about our days,
toooo busy to stop and enjoy life.
Toooo busy schedules, rushing about.
JUST DO IT, SLOW DOWN!!

Fast track of Life,
toooo busy to take out time for our bodies,
keep putting off having important test done.
Putting our lives on the line,
JUST DO IT, SLOW DOWN!!

Fast track of Life,
not taking out the time to eat proper,
running and gulping down your food.
Not eating healthy like one should.
JUST DO IT, SLOW DOWN!!

Author's Note: Till one day, all of a sudden. A great big wrench is throw into your path. Not to mention all the other things we do to our bodies, that's not good for us.

Obviously this poem comes from a life "jolt". A message needed by everyone!

What really matters in Life?
How we treat others with kindness and integrity while we are here.
How are we able to learn kindness and integrity?
When we, ourself, are shown kindness and integrity by another/others.
How is anyone able to find the strength to be good to others?
By being good to ones own body, mind, soul, and heart.

Your poem speaks of what's trying to take over us in this century, busy-ness, and, oh, my friend! —you are soooo right! —how we must slow the pace of those steamrollers flying into our lanes. My heart into yours comes moving softly. —Love Jill
