call it

by Charlie Morgan

i'm the base fiddle with a grin
that megrandson sees; a piano.

i'm the loving beast that nibbles
his ears, getting to his heart.

his giggles a paycheck i cash
with my heart's throbbing.

he walks like frankenstein to me,
a selfish grin lighting his path,

blinking i love yous as he wobbles
filling my eyes and my life.

Oh Chaz! This is wonderful! I can just SEE a chubster frankensteinien grin! Oh yes. Grandensteins are the best! You've given a most impressive snap shot of a moment. Thank you!

I love the nibbles and giggles and wobbles of this, and especially Stanza 3

Wonderful. Kids just steal my heart. So have your words.
