TOPIC: planning to procrastinate by Kyle Anne Kishaltered thoughts
hidden meanings
tripping over
my own thoughts
and landing
in the middle
of some mucked
up hurky jerky
full-sized gumbo
of jumble.
back up, sit down
dont wear such
a big frown.
just cause im
down doesnt
mean im dead
and i wasnt
in the lead
to receive
the person of
the year award
anyway.
tomorrow
i plan to sleep
in, walk over
laundry piles
add one more
glass to the
kitchen clutter
read all day
and be virtually
useless until
my head spins
back into drive
the day after. 08/31/2007 Author's Note: Topic by Aaron Michael. Thanks, Aaron.

Posted by Michelle Angelini on 09/02/07 at 06:09 AM Holy cannoli - you must be reading my mind. I love the way the stanzas move from confusion to realization to determination. Yep, let those dishes sit! That's one of life's freedoms. ;-)
