Just a kiss? by Sandy M. HumphreyLest you forget
Kisses are gifts
Sweet and tender
Soft wet and warm
Sometimes brief
Or long and lingering
Up-close and personal
Eyes closed or half open
Moments of sheer intimacy
Shared by people who love
There are kisses between lovers
Between friends
Mothers and children
Fathers and children
Dog kisses
Cat kisses
Experienced kisses
Just learning kisses
Familiar kisses
Hello kisses
Goodbye kisses
Belly button kisses
Butterfly kisses
Candy kisses
Just because kisses
Thank you kisses
Toe curling kisses
Tip toeing kisses
Wow kisses
On the forehead kisses
On the cheek kisses
Brush the lip kisses
Soul to soul kisses
Pleasant surprise kisses
Kisses are gifts one person to another
Kisses should not be wasted by giving them away
Carelessly without thinking
Or obligatory without wanting
From the right person to the right person at the right time
A kiss can be magical
Phantasmagorical
Spellbinding
Or simply bliss
So much can be said
with just one
