Out Of The Clay

by Melissa Arel

Out of the clay
Used by the Master's hand
I have been reborn
And now I understand
The molding and shaping
He has done to me
Has made me even stronger
Than I ever thought I'd be.
The fire and the heat
Has refined me like silver
If I break open,
Love will flow out like rivers.
Emboldened and unashamed
Of what I have endured,
My soul has found peace
And my heart is re-assured.
Everything has its own purpose
A destiny and a plan
God has held me tenderly
In the palm of His mighty hand.
