faith in fairytales

i still have faith
in fairytales
though hurt has come
love will prevail.
the silver lining
of my darkest hour
will blossom into
the purest flower.
and though i know not
the time or day
love will soon come
and light my way.
i will wait here
patiently
until my prince
comes rescue me.
