* The fire of the sun (tagged! ;-)

by A. Paige White

The fire of the sun
pours into the timbers
as they lay stacked
and the hearty pine
fragrance fills the air
waiting for a strong lad
to carry and brace
and hammer into a place
of refuge

The fire of the sun
pours onto the skin
of a strong lad
carrying heavy burdens
with the ease of grace
and his grateful heart
is warmer yet by fragrances
of praise burning with
The fire of the Son
