topic: calculation of emotion by Ava Blu
he added the ones and threes of her steps
but left off the swaying in the breeze
thinking something could come of this indiscretion
it was another walk in the park
he could see her legs
as he quickened the pace
he kept up with her routines:
up at 6:15am
out the door by 7
back home by 7pm
he dreamt about her silhouette
he could smell her sweat as he slept
(he was envisioning her beside him now)
stop, snap out of it!
back to the chase
yes, the hunt
because now he must have her
he has been calculating the emotions for weeks
how would it feel to take her
how will it affect his breath
will his wife taste her blood when they kiss
it would never matter now
he will have her in the park
forgetting to calculate
the police following his every move.
