Cotton Candy Sky by Jacki M ButlerThe sky is glowing
At the oceanic horizon
Starting off a soft blue
Fading into a cotton candy pink
Then almost white before becoming
A brilliant blue high about me
Streaked with small puffs of clouds
And early signs of stars
And in moments it has all gone away 08/05/2007 Posted on 08/12/2007 Copyright © 2024 Jacki M Butler

Posted by Quentin S Clingerman on 08/14/07 at 01:50 AM Good to see you back (or have I just been negligent?) You draw a vivid and colorful picture of the sky above the ocean. (I lived along the Atlantic Ocean for three months this past winter.) |
