Where is the chocolate cake?

by Mary Ellen Smith

the chocolate cake went missing

a few crumbs left behind.

one could take a piece or two

now that I wouldn't mind.

And I really can't help but wonder

who the chocolate thief could be

I guess someone needed a chocolate fix

a little more than me.

Lol! Now this really gave me a chuckle! Just Saturday I had a half a pan of brownies GONE after I decreed that some should be left for Chip only to find two teenage boys standing in my kitchen with that "who? me? I NEVER would." look and an empty pan.

Hi Mary Ellen, Great write, I had a few chuckles too. I do like chocolate cake too. But, it wasn't me either. That sure does sound good, slice of chocolate cake. I'd rather have a good chewy, fudgey brownie. But, if ya find it or make another, ya can slid slice thru the computer. LOL, :)

LOL!! Humorous and fun! Reminds me of the "Thief of Tarts" . (You really didn't need that chocolate cake anyway. ;0))
