i am a plagiarist by Lauren Singereverything i have ever thought
has already been said more effectively,
written down with more poise,
and articulated more soundly,
than anything
i could ever muster.

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 07/07/07 at 02:51 AM Witty stuff Lauren. It's been said that Shakespeare was the world's greatest plagiarist, though I imagine it was meant figuratively. I'm sure every poet has thought this of themselves, and yet we continue to find small miracles amid the lines. :o) |
Posted by Meghan Helmich on 06/09/08 at 08:39 PM this is the universal mind of poets. we all share this thought. we re-define plagiarism. and you know what? that's got to be enough. |
