hate e-mail by Genevieve Sturrocki imagine you sitting there
staring at your computer
trying to conjure up
yet one more nasty
accusation to throw at me
one more way i fail
to meet your ever increasing
list of expectations
i grow weary of
jumping through your hoops
and trying to keep
our children balanced
against your constant
barrage of complaints
is it that hard
for you to accept
that they still enjoy
my company despite
your discomfort
and disapproval
and just what will
occupy your small mind
when they are finally grown
and see you for who
and what you are 07/04/2007 Author's Note: vacation is a week away and he rears his ugly head again.

Posted by A. Paige White on 07/04/07 at 05:06 PM Oh sweetie. I hardly know what to say to this. And when children are involved you have to endure it and try to put on a happy face even when you're in pieces. They do grow up and realize the truth though. They do. Mine did. Hang in there. Mine seldom call their father dad. Just call him by his name. I pray you find comfort even in the middle of it all. |
