Author's Note: This was a tough week. I had to tell so many people they no longer have a job in our site in the tiny town of Coon Rapids, Iowa. Some had worked over 30 years in this plant. I have been doing this far too long...

oh, Tony, i am so sorry for you and all those people. a friend of mine was 'retired' recently and it came as a shock to her and i thought it must have been equally difficult for the person who had to let her go.
