monkey puzzle

by Peter Humphreys

lying on
my back
looking
through
the branches
of a tree
at a sky
that would
puzzle a monkey
never mind
me

my heron
perched
on wall
watching
a fisherman
watching
a fish
watching
a fly
under
a sky
that would
puzzle a monk
never mind
me

above
my moon
rising
sickle
soon
before
my sun
was set
upon
the
western
wind
I lie
under
a sky
that
would
a monkey
puzzle
never mind me

Great images....and great fun! Thanks, Peter!

Love the playfulness, and the turn arounds "never mind me" and monk/monkey... I love especially the possessiveness of this, and the individual views...it is all in the way we (each) see it. The view through trees at sky is indeed both puzzle-like and puzzling!

Delightful looking up from your viewpoint, Peter!
