heat lightning

by Kyle Anne Kish

shiver me timbers
shake me red
open the barn doors
to relay what i said.

it didn't require
concrete boots
to sink in the silt.

Amazing photo! along with a light-hearted poem. The combination of the two remind me of the newest Pirates (which I'm definitely going to see).

How can I not love a poem that opens with "Shiver me timbers"???

Hi Kyle, Yes, it is amazing. Strange how that happens, when the heat is bad. Good one and the photo too. They go together very well. :)
