Routine by Jared Fladelandthe tedious moments of opening your eyes,
lifting your head,
pulling your body out of the bed,
putting both feet on the floor,
picking out a shirt, picking out some pants,
picking out undergarments,
walking, one foot in front of the other across the hall
to the bathroom,
brushing your teeth,
turning on the shower,
perhaps urinating in the toilet,
depending on the state of your bladder,
feeling the temperature of the water,
stepping into the shower,
washing your hair,
and washing yourself clean for the day;
turning off the shower,
wiping yourself dry,
putting on your underwear,
putting on your pants,
using some deodorant, putting on your shirt,
spraying yourself with cologne,
putting in your contacts,
and checking to make sure you have everything you need for the day
all become less burdensome
when you have something to be passionate about. 05/14/2007 Posted on 05/14/2007 Copyright © 2024 Jared Fladeland
