if i were a feral woman
by Rowan Luis
With dirt in the corners of my eyes;
I would make love with a deer by cold moonlight,
are the sexiest beasts in the forest
Author's Note: bah. they are quite sexy. could be an alternative life plan... live off the land, mate with a deer, have weird hooved children.

"live off the land, mate with a deer, have weird hooved children"... Ha! That's like totally the norm' in some of the places I've lived. But anyway, nice short piece this is - it made me "think" (which is forgivable just this once). Quite nicely done; kinda disturbing too. ;)

I can see that happening with a "feral" woman. One for the "courageous admission" file. :o)

A bearer of Pan-lings! Ah, to dance through the woods and leave the trappings of modern culture behind! Great verse!

While the Wolf, perched atop his moon-soaked cliff watches the act with yellow eyes, deciding who would taste sweeter, you or the deer.
