Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 04/13/07 at 02:18 PM These simple lines really move me. I like the first person approach. You bring movement and sound and the symbiosis between earth and you to life. |

Posted by Kathleen Wilson on 04/18/07 at 02:31 AM Yay Rhonda...I have been dancing all weekend so--this seemed like it was written for me too! I like the centering of this poem... gives a graceful balanced feel to it... as if ready for another spin! |
Posted by Kathleen Wilson on 04/18/07 at 02:33 AM P.S. We did have hula dancing at the Caltech Dance show... (I was bellydancing)... I took a hula workshop though, and this poem rings true in the earth expression of it...I learned how directly descriptive of natural forces and landscape the hula is! |
