zero times six rotations around the earth by Kyle Anne Kishhigh alert,
protection status
zero times
six rotations
around the earth
which brings me
right back to my
bed, calmly
reading a book.
slipping in and out
of this self induced
coma, i try one
more time to carry
myself away,
away to other worldly
worlds where pipers
play and mice follow
them right to the flowing
river
jumping in and realizing
itÂ’s too late not to take
the plunge as the icy
waters carry them
below the surface
which brings me
right back to my
bed, calmly
reading a book. 03/27/2007 Posted on 03/27/2007 Copyright © 2024 Kyle Anne Kish

Posted by A. Paige White on 03/27/07 at 06:21 PM I really like how this zooms in and out from outer space (beam me up Scotty!) to your bed to cuddling the pied piper back to an icy plunge...brrrrrr back to snuggling a cuddly book... great zoom! |
Posted by Deborah S Regan on 03/27/07 at 06:30 PM :) I've never thought that way about reading a book |
