Posted by Kathleen Wilson on 05/07/07 at 03:50 PM Whew...I am glad I did not miss this one! Rich and suggestive, the topic is huge and mystifying, but your language has an incisive clarity that either came in a brilliant swoop or is the result of years of thinking. Probably both? In the center the "not taking time" as a key to not understanding things and (jumping) to conclusions, of which the solutions are (pseudo) "solutions" of their own conclusions (rather than really thought out examinations of real problems).. I'd say this is the problem with just about everything! Excellent! |

This piece walks me gently through misty morning light, onward into the blinding noon day sun and leaves me at twilight in front of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The temptation to caress the leaves, just for a moment while contemplating the beauty of such succulent fruits... what IS the solution... hmmm... my pick for POTD. |

Posted by Tracy Ellen on 07/20/07 at 05:45 PM This captures the feeling of confused vulnerability needed for useful contemplation. Is there somewhere to go from here except round and round? I guess that's the question (or one of many, anyway). |
