A Mother's Love

by Alisa Js

if I could spend a day with you both
maybe more,
within your lives
I want you to know
I still care,
and always will ...

you both need to know
I loved you then
more than life
my love has no bounds ...

a mother's love is eternal, crossing space and time
from the moment I knew
I was blessed with you
each one,
my love began and never stopped
believe me!

and though circumstances, I need not say
you both were way too young
kept you from my loving arms,
I still had you right next to me, everytime I closed my eyes
you were here,
you need to know
I loved you then
I love you now,
even more...

Please think of me
on those days when the sun is high
and those clouds the way you love them
fluffy and serene
close your eyes and I'll be there
right beside your smiles
inside your hearts
I love you, sons
for always

remember me when you see your brother's face,
I'll peek a boo when you least expect
in the twinkle of laughing eyes
out of the corner of a silly smile
I would have done anything
to hold you one more time
before I had to say goodbye,
beyond my world ...

and though I may not be here, standing
my love lives
and surrounds your every days

I love you both
eternally,
remember me, please
when you close your eyes
I am here
feel my hugs through these words I share
I live inside your hearts

I love you, my sons ...

What a tender, loving read. You gave your friend a gift that nobody else could. Beautiful.

Hi Alisa, It's beautiful, a loving tribute. It's so emotional. A Mother's Love is something else. Precious. Thanks for sharing. :)
