It Doesn't Matter

by Alisa Js

it doesn't matter
that you no longer acknowledge my presence
answer my emails
or return my phone calls ...

I can still revel in our memories
and meet you right here,
inside my mind
I remember
do you?
the times we spent together
me and you,
the first time you touched me
amazing,
I can still love you
and you know I do ...

it doesn't matter
you no longer acknowledge my presence,
answer my emails
or return my phone calls

I know that you know that I know ...

"it doesn't matter" ... oh but it does. For someone to acknowledge, at least, our feelings is a great part of healing. I liked this poem just for the pure honesty of it, Alisa.
