Questions about time by Alisa Jstime, is it endless?
and we, who are finite
get caught up with this concept of eternal,
these bodies we inhabit
for this journey
we travel, convinced of forever ...
and eternal we are
in spirit,
no question
wisdom passed down through the ages
time marches on
to a rhythm,
these drumbeats, listen
in sync with our hearts
and those hands on the clocks
serve as a witness
of the reality we share
for this moment ...
won't you spend your moments with me?
and together we can see a new dawning,
to weave in this tapestry of life
yours and mine ... 03/02/2007 Posted on 03/02/2007 Copyright © 2024 Alisa Js

Posted by Rhonda Maneki on 03/02/07 at 08:37 PM Very intricately written - woven from fabriques of life and love - promised! Time is endlessly - ticking..time will never have a true measure...but, we are measured only by our life and how we live it. *hugs* |
Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 03/05/07 at 03:47 PM I like how you have addressed the reality of the finiteness of our "now". Your last stanza is such a personal, sweet invitation, and although you may have meant it for a specific special someone, it feels as though you are inviting me into your life also, making it universal and all embracing. |
