Thank God for Potholes

by Rhonda Maneki

Thank you God, for all the potholes in life,
the ups and down and twirl me a rounds.

For each pothole, for each struggle,
I find a new way, a unique way of
building bridges, flying or swimming
though something that life has
thrown at me.

There are no maps, only good intuition,
faith, a positive attitude and forgiveness,
understanding, walking in the other
persons shoes for a mile,
lots of self love, love and forgiveness
for others and forgiveness of self.

Live on!
Celebrate!

Author's Note: I hit a pothole -
I jumped over it...
Forgiveness, is the key most of the time... the rest is minor engineering.*grin*

Hi Rhonda, Great write. When I first read the title, I thought. What's so great about potholes? I thought about the roads, etc. then I read, great. That's right, you go girl. I'm putting this one on my favorites list.
