take a shovel to a glass of milk
and wrap your world in a moment,
hold it close to the sharp cold light,
and let be known your thoughts;

in disconnected sentences we make our
cases for thoughts disconnected from
reality, wars and sandbox games of
hide and seek and destroy.

in no frame of reference,
anything is possible-
and even the impossible
can be true, and if
(only if) we
accept the disconnections
can atrocity persist.

so take a shovel to a glass of milk
and you will understand.
