Genevieve, you ahve truly captured the spirit of this art form. The loneliness intensified by that last line. So very well done!! Into my favorites this one.

This is excellent! That 3rd line definitely captures in metaphor the mood of being alone, with the first two lines setting the stage. Well done!!

The daffodil is the national flower of my country. When I see a daffodil, it tells me to go home. Thank you.
