I love my boy

by Janine Euladia

I love my boy
And soon he will be grown
"Mom I will always, live with you at home"

I spend my time
directing, teaching, playing
It doesn't leave enough, for a job that's paying

I could sacrifice
My morals with disdain
Or choose this state of poverty, knowing it's his gain

I love my boy
And soon he will be grown
"Mom I will always, live with you at home"

Author's Note: Made myself cry~`~` My son is young enough that "Mom I will always, live with you at home" is not a threat.
