June loon croons across the lake
rapt by nature’s wake

i cannot write haiku...but i can admire one nicely done. great visual and, though i hate to jog, you brought a sense of peace to my mind.

I can see the light fog on the lake and hear the call as you jog by - nice...

Fascinating haiku-- the atmosphere, the season, and--the enigmatic end--to me "wake" can mean both morning and perhaps a funereal feeling too-- the cry of the loon is evocative of that too.
